Global Venture has slowed down, which means that the Golden period is now

When the crowd goes one way look the other way for opportunity. Because of the broad correction in venture two things have happened. One, the tourists have left, and easy fundraises can’t happen again. So those who can get funded now, will do so for more authentic reasons. Second, while the US is prone to huge upswings, and bubble like behaviour (like a fervent market for Artificial Intelligence related financings) it becomes even harder to build a startup in (insert your favourite geography) India, Africa, UK, Europe, China, Australia etc which very specifically means, if you can get seed funded in 2023 or 2024, there will be some survival bias built into those company cultures and some authentic conditions for the big winners of 2033 and 2034.

It takes 15 years to build a great company, and so my aperture is on again to catalog and capture the very global winners being born now (and surviving for prosperity) as everything around them collapses. Look out for some new postcards in here.
